QTL mapping of seed protein and oil traits in two recombinant inbred line soybean populations

چکیده
Seed oil and seed protein contents are commercially important components of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) that inversely correlated. The objectives this study were to identify novel quantitative trait loci (QTL) validate existing QTL associated with oil, protein, weight in soybean. Two mapping populations, Pop 201 202, consisting 180 170 recombinant inbred lines (RILs), respectively, used study. phenotypic data for each population collected from four environments. linkage maps 202 consisted 421 416 polymorphic single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers, respectively. Multiple Mapping (MQM) analyses identified a total 13 7 6 (SDWT). content not co-located found on chromosomes 17 18 multiple environments These can be useful reducing the inverse correlation between contents. Most previously reported genomic regions, thus provide additional evidence stability those across genetic environmental backgrounds. findings insight into control these traits potentially enable breeders utilize QTL-linked SNPs marker-assisted selection (MAS).

Mapping Isoflavone QTL with Main, Epistatic and QTL × Environment Effects in Recombinant Inbred Lines of Soybean
Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) isoflavone is important for human health and plant defense system. To identify novel quantitative trait loci (QTL) and epistatic QTL underlying isoflavone content in soybean, F5:6, F5:7 and F5:8 populations of 130 recombinant inbred (RI) lines, derived from the cross of soybean cultivar 'Zhong Dou 27' (high isoflavone) and 'Jiu Nong 20' (low isoflavone), were an...

Variation for wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) grain yield and agronomic traits was used to map quantitative trait loci (QTL) in a ‘Cheyenne’ (CNN) × [CNN (‘Wichita’ 3A)] recombinant inbred chromosome line (RICL) population consisting of 223 CNN(RICLs3A) and 7 check cultivars that were evaluated in six environments in Nebraska during 2005–2007. A chromosome 3A linkage map spanning 106 cM was constr...
متن کاملQuantitative trait loci in Two Soybean Recombinant Inbred Line Populations Segregating for Yield and Disease Resistance.
Molecular makers linked to quantitative trait loci (QTL) can assist soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] breeders to combine traits of low heritability, such as yield, with disease resistance. The objective of this study was to identify markers linked to yield QTL in two recombinant inbred line (RIL) populations ['Essex' x 'Forrest' (ExF; n = 100) and 'Flyer' x 'Hartwig' (FxH; n = 94)] that also se...
متن کاملQuantitative trait locus mapping for seed mineral concentrations in two Arabidopsis thaliana recombinant inbred populations.
Biofortification of foods, achieved by increasing the concentrations of minerals such as iron (Fe) and zinc (Zn), is a goal of plant scientists. Understanding genes that influence seed mineral concentration in a model plant such as Arabidopsis could help in the development of nutritionally enhanced crop cultivars. Quantitative trait locus (QTL) mapping for seed concentrations of calcium (Ca), c...

physiologica]ly active substances. Howeyer, most of the genomic and economic traits in soybean are quantitatiye, controlled by multiple genes and easity affected by environmental conditions. Based on recombinant inbred lines (Fs), a genetic linkage map with 177 RFLP, 150 SSR, 28 AFLP markers and 5 phenotypic markers was censtructed. The map covered a distance of 2663.6 cM of the soybean genome ...
